Terms of Use

These terms apply to the Real Headshot app ("the app"), published by Jong Woo Kim ("we", "us"). By downloading or using the app you agree to them. If you got the app from the Apple App Store, Apple's standard Licensed Application End User License Agreement also applies; where the two differ for iPhone users, Apple's agreement takes priority.
1. What the app does
Real Headshot helps you take and refine headshots of your real face on your phone. It adjusts background, lighting, tone and skin; it does not generate a new face. Results depend on your phone, the light and the photo, so we cannot promise a particular result.
2. What is free and what is paid
- Shooting, retaking and previewing results are free.
- Saving or sharing a finished photo needs one of the purchases below.

Prices may differ by country and currency; the price shown in the store before you pay is the price you are charged. Monthly, yearly and lifetime cover personal photos only; team mode uses team seats. There are no ads.
"Lifetime" and "for life" mean for as long as the app is offered on your platform. If we ever discontinue the app, we will say so on this site at least 90 days in advance.
Promotional passes (for example from our launch event) are delivered as App Store or Google Play codes and follow the same rules as a purchase of the same product.
3. Subscriptions: renewal and cancellation
- Payment is charged to your Apple or Google account when you confirm the purchase.
- Monthly and yearly subscriptions renew automatically at the same price and length unless you cancel at least 24 hours before the end of the current period. Your account is charged for renewal within 24 hours before the current period ends.
- You can manage or cancel a subscription at any time in your store account: on iPhone, Settings → your name → Subscriptions; on Android, Google Play → Payments & subscriptions → Subscriptions. The app's settings also has a link to this screen.
- If you cancel, you keep access until the end of the period you already paid for.
4. Restoring purchases
- Subscriptions and Lifetime can be restored on a new phone or after reinstalling: open the app's settings and tap Restore purchases, signed in to the same Apple or Google account.
- "This photo" applies to the photo you bought it for.
- Team seats are counted only on the phone that bought them, because we run no server. Unused seats may be lost if you delete the app or change phones (on Android, a system backup may bring them back). The app shows this notice before you buy a team pack.
- If a purchase went through but saving failed, the app keeps a credit for one photo so you do not pay twice.
5. Refunds
Payments are processed by Apple or Google, and refunds follow their rules. Request a refund at reportaproblem.apple.com (App Store) or through Google Play's order history (Google Play). We cannot issue refunds ourselves, but we are glad to help — write to us.
6. Using the app fairly
- Only photograph and edit yourself, or people who have agreed to it.
- Do not use the app to mislead people about who someone is, or for anything unlawful.
- Do not copy, resell, reverse engineer or modify the app except where the law allows.
7. Your photos
Your photos are yours. We do not receive them and claim no rights to them. See the Privacy Policy.
8. The app itself
We grant you a personal, non-transferable license to use the app on devices you own or control. The app, its design and its name belong to us. The app includes open-source components used under their own licenses.
9. No warranty and limits of liability
The app is provided "as is". To the extent the law allows, we make no warranties, and we are not liable for indirect or consequential losses, lost photos or lost data. Our total liability is limited to the amount you paid for the app in the 12 months before the claim. Some places do not allow these limits, so they may not apply to you.
10. Changes and ending
We may update the app and these terms. If the terms change, we will update this page and the effective date. You may stop using the app at any time by deleting it and cancelling any subscription.
11. Governing law
These terms are governed by the laws of the Commonwealth of Virginia, USA, without affecting any consumer rights you have where you live.
